Test Environment
Testing conducted by CalDigit in January 2011 using Apple 12-core 2.66GHz Mac Pro. Testing was conducted using Iometer 2011.01.05 with a 1-second ramp-up, 5- minute run duration, 1MB request size, and 8 outstanding IOs. The test system was configured in a one-volume configuration booting with MacOS 10.6.5 installed. Eight external drives (HITACHI 1000GB SATA under RAID 5) as the test volume on which Iometer tests were performed.
