Symptoms:
Externally installed operating systems are unable to be selected as a bootable startup disk.

Products Affected:   Thunderbolt Station, TS2 - Thunderbolt Station 2

You can boot externally through USB 3.0 or eSATA if the following system requirements are met.
- Late 2013 Mac (Haswell) or newer
- OS X 10.9.2 or newer

If the above requirements are met, please ensure that you external storage device is up to date with the proper firmware.
