The CalDigit Charging Support Driver enables OS X to allow TS3/TS3 Lite/TS2/TS1 to supply power greater than the USB 3.0 standard of 900mA, a function that is typically restricted to Apple computers and displays. Most Apple portable devices and SuperDrive require more than 900mA to charge or function.
