Symptoms:
I received the message "You have inserted a disk containing no volumes that Mac OS X can read. To use the unreadable volumes, click Initialize. To continue with the disk inserted, click Ignore." when using my CalDigit VR with Mac OS X 10.2 or 10.3, what do I do?

Products Affected:   HDPro & HDPro2, HDOne, CalDigit RAID Card, HDElement, CalDigit VR & mini, FireWire VR, S2VR HD, S2VR Duo, FASTA-4e, FASTA-4x, FASTA-2e, FASTA-1ex

This message commonly occurs when the drive was partitioned using GUID partition tables. Mac OS X 10.2 and 10.3 do not support GUID partition tables. You will need to use 10.4 or later. Or re-initialize your drive using the Apple partition Map.

Warning: Doing so will erase all data on your drive.
