This is normal behavior for the AV Pro 2. Unlike the original AV Pro, the AV Pro 2 powers down in accordance with the internal drive’s activity. After a few minutes of inactivity, the LED light will turn off until the drive is accessed once again. You should always check to make sure that the AV Pro 2 is properly dismounted or ejected before disconnecting the device from your computer.
