Summary:
I'm installing the CalDigit RAID Card in to a Mac Pro that is using bootcamp, but I'm only going to use the CalDigit RAID Card with an HDElement and no internal drives. Do I need to use the bootcamp cable or the internal mini-SAS cable?

Products Affected:   CalDigit RAID Card, HDElement

No, If you are only using the CalDigit RAID Card with an HDElement, and do not want to connect to any of the internal drive on the Mac Pro, there is no need to use the bootcamp cable or the internal mini-SAS cable. Simply connect the HDElement with the mini-SAS cable to the rear port on the back of the CalDigit RAID Card, once the CalDigit RAID Card has been installed in the Mac Pro.
