CalDigit now has updated versions of VR's software and firmware available: CalDigit VR RAID Tool v2.1: CalDigit RAID Tool v2.1 (Mac OSX 10.4 to 10.6) CalDigit VR Firmware v1.67: CalDigit VR Firmware v1.67 **For the VR with "JBOD" RAID setting, please re-create the JBOD RAID via LCD or RAIDTool. This process is necessary for the new JBOD RAID mapping table enforcement, and the original data will not be affect by the RAID change (see Topic #2). For other RAID settings (RAID 0 / RAID 1 / SPAN), this process is not necessary. **If the RAIDTool is unable to find the VR, please check the following LINK Firmware version 1.67 and RAID Tool 2.1 now support Turbo Mode, Clear RAID info, JBOD, and much more. To update the VR firmware, launch the RAID Tool located in Applications\CalDigit_RAID_Tool folder. Choose the VR you want to update, then click on the firmware update icon. Press the Control and F keys then select the firmware bin file. * Firmware update is only available through FireWire and USB interfaces. It is important not interrupt the firmware update process.
