When APPLE release a new OS X update patch, it is ALWAYS RECOMMENDED consult with us before updating your OS. Once we finish the tests on the new update, we will announce at our support page: CalDigit Support Page Before updating your OS X: 1. If possible, please save a copy of your current OS to a bootable external storage device. You can use software like: Carbon Copy Cloner. (In case of the CalDigit products become malfunction after the update, you can roll back to the original OSX and wait for our patch.) 2. If possible, please turn off and disconnect the CalDigit Devices until the update processes are completed. 3. ALWAYS download the Combo update from Apple's website. For example: Mac OSX 10.6.8 Combo Update. Do NOT use the automatic software update function on your Mac. 3. If the devices do not show up after the update, please try to re-install their drivers and software. You can find their latest driver at: CalDigit Support Page.
