Symptoms: If you are using Mac machine, you may see gray screen all the time during system boot up. You will not be able to pass the gray screen unless disconnect our HDPro/HDOne storage. Similar symptoms may be applied to Windows where you will see "Waiting for the controller to be ready!" during windows system startup.

This issue is related to EFI and BIOS conflict with different motherboards. If you do not use our storage as an OS drive, you can empty both EFI and BIOS easily by applying the following BIOS to your HDPro/HDOne through RAIDShield. https://archive.caldigit.com/support/CalDigit_B99_E09.bin.gz Please Do NOT unzip this BIOS, simply choose this .gz file in RAIDShield to update the BIOS under Windows or Mac OS.
