After changes are made to the CalDigit VR's setting, the enclosure will automatically restart for the changes take effect. To avoid getting the ‘Disk Un-mounted’ warning message, please save your work and un-mount the drive before making any change to the CalDigit VR’s settings. It is also recommended that you perform all changes at once via RAID Tool (Nick name, password, LCD on/off, Beeper on/off etc).
