We are a small company that fills tall orders. And when Mitsubishi Electric came at us with the tall task of producing their new product rollout program this year, it was a big deal. And that’s why the CalDigit HDPro drive array was one of our “secret bullets” this year.

Needless to say, Mitsubishi produces some of the highest quality HDTVs in the market. They were the first to bring 1080P to the market in 2005. So, their eye on exceptional production values and brilliant imagery is a top priority. Our little company needed a cost-effective media storage system to support this project, without breaking the bank.

When we discovered CalDigit’s HDPro drive array, we thought it was too good to be true. In the past, we spent a good portion of our post budget finishing our work at a large post house. We had been shopping for our own HD drive array in order to keep some of that money in- house, but everything we found before the HDPro drives was out of reach.

The CalDigit HDPro drives handled the entire project flawlessly. We finished in Final Cut Pro’s HDCam 10-bit Uncompressed CODEC, running on a G5 Quad 2.7Gig processor. The performance and interface were impressive. The HDPro drive array handled all of the footage seamlessly and beautifully.

In the end, the project was so successful with Mitsubishi, we were able to launch their entire training website, by converting the entire show to Flash video. The site is impressive and has broken new ground in the e-learning industry.

And a final note about customer service… Jon and Walter and everyone at CalDigit get high marks for customer support. During the installation and set up, we got all of the personal, step-by-step support we needed to get our drives up and running.
