For this side project i'm currently working on, we're doing the whole workflow in ProRes. Which gives huge advantages during capturing and grading. I'm relatively new to film making but as a photographer I'm used getting the image in a certain look and feel. Working my way into DaVinci Resolve for grading now. Finally caved and bought the Caldigit Thunderbolt 2 station. Very surprised how small, light, and compact it is. My macbook pro only has one TB port and no USB 3.0 so this will definitely come in handy when editing off external HDDs. #caldigit #thunderbolt #apple #mac #4k #editing #mbp
