I have been working with the HDONE to complete a full un-compressed HD 10bit 4.2.2. 1920x1080 edit for Agent Provocateur's music label Dirty Stop-out with their latest song "White Rabbit" I was able to playback speed up footage, slowed down footage in full HD quality from my timeline without any problem.

It is easy to look at various other raid boxes from other companies and read the marketing which come with the products about the speeds and support. I have been looking into raids for a very long time, and heard very good things about Caldigit. Jon at Caldigit has been amazing with his support in terms of pre-sales and post sales, normally answering emails with-in minutes of getting my query such as computer settings, configurations, performance.

I then decided to buy the HDONE on the basis of the reviews I been reading online and all the support and info from Caldigit before I purchashed. I was a bit sceptical about actually trying out the unit with my own project, from just reading the reviews online and not actually used a HDONE before or any other Caldigit product for that matter. I can just say these words. It worked flawless, no issues, and out performed what I expected of the HDONE unit when I actually started to use it myself in person.

Once I got the HDONE It was really easy to setup, what I liked was the build quality of the unit very solid, not flimsy, all the parts from the same company so support is indeed single vendor. Frank from tech support was extremely helpful is assisting me with some setup questions I had for the raid before I got up and running so that I was on the right track form the word go with the project that I was editing. It is silky smooth to edit with the Raid, keeps up perfect and even at 150GB of spare on the Caldigit drives it was still playing back the full res video files without any dropped frames, or lags. Any questions I had I could contact Jon and the team right away on email, Skype and Livechat support. How many other companies offer this with a fast response time? I can be confident that my Media is safe and secure on the Caldigit raid and that I can undertake any project upto 2k without any worries of losing data or a problem occurring as with my project it worked beautiful.
